Come stroll through the orchard with the farmers and taste over a dozen
varieties of
citrus. Learn about our farm, family and fruit!
Our Sheldon ranch is uniquely situated at the base of Matilija Canyon
with a microclimate that allows for excellent flavor development in
citrus. On our tour you will have the opportunity to taste the
many varieties of seasonal tangerines as well as blood oranges,
minneolas and more!
Tours are offered on the following Saturdays in 2010:

Arrive
at our packinghouse at 9am. Hear a little of the history of our
farm before heading across the road to our Sheldon ranch. Walk
with the farmers through the orchard, tasting and picking fruit and
asking questions about our orchards. Return to the packinghouse
where you can weigh the fruit you picked and purchase more to take home
or have shipped to friends and family. Be on the road by 11:30 to
one of Ojai's fine restaurants for lunch.
Costs:
Adults $12.00, children 10 years and under $5.00, children under 2 year
old are free. Price includes tour and the fruit you taste!
(Additional fruit you pick is $1.50 per pound).
